The CDC has issued a Level 4 travel notice advising that “all people” should avoid cruise ships worldwide because of a “very high” COVID risk.

Four Carnival Corp. subsidiaries, as well as Disney Cruise Line, have canceled cruises well into next year because of COVID-19.

SeaDream Yacht Club has canceled its remaining cruises scheduled to sail in 2020.

SeaDream Yacht Club’s SeaDream I ended its trip early after at least seven passengers tested positive for COVID-19, officials said.

The cruise industry has suspended cruises in U.S. waters until 2021. The announcement comes after the CDC’s no-sail order expired over the weekend.

Cruise ships will be allowed to sail in U.S. waters Sunday, according to a CDC order issued Friday but that doesn’t mean passengers will be on board.

Cruise ships will not be allowed to sail in Canadian waters until March 1, 2021, though ferries and water taxis can continue to operate.
