President Joe Biden made clear his goal is for most K-8 public schools to be open in person “five days a week” by the end of his first 100 days.

The CDC has released new guidelines for reopening schools that are still closed in the COVID pandemic.

Miguel Cardona would lead Biden’s goal to reopen public schools in the first 100 days amid COVID-19. He’s also expected to undo Betsy DeVos policies.

Interior Secretary David Bernhardt led a tour of the monument this week before testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.

Bernhardt, 51, is “following all CDC guidelines and consulting with medical professionals as appropriate,” his department said in a statement.
