The Boeing 737 Max grounding will likely impact the summer travel season for the second year in a row. Recertification isn’t expected until mid-year.

Travelers flying between central China and the United States will now be routed through one of five airports with coronavirus screening.

Southwest will proactively cancel 330 daily flights between mid-April and June 6 to make up for the Max’s continued absence.

American Airlines says the move will result in the cancellation of 140 daily flights. Affected passengers will be rebooked or may get a refund.

Delta and other major airlines, excluding Southwest, charge $200 per person to change a non-refundable ticket in addition to any fare difference.

Rapidly growing no-frills carrier Allegiant Air is offering one-way introductory fares starting at $33 on some of its new routes.
