Volatile Trump backers have won nominations for the U.S. Senate and state offices, but face tough races this fall – particularly the Senate.

While some predecessors have faced their share of accusations, no president has been the subject of such an array of scandal as Donald Trump.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney called Donald Trump “a coward” and said that “a real man wouldn’t lie to his supporters.”

Issues that will decide which party ultimately wins control of Congress are on full display Tuesday when five states host primaries.

Calling for an “all out effort” against crime, the former president said the country will have to “be tough and be nasty and be mean if we have to.”

As he ponders another presidential run in 2024, Donald Trump has to maneuver around Jan. 6 investigations and the prospect of Republican opposition.

Attorney General Merrick Garland reminded prosecutors that extra steps are required before action can be taken in politically sensitive cases.
