Police in Calif. fatally shoot knife-wielding man

Police officers fatally shot a knife-wielding man near the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California on Tuesday. KESQ-TV reports that the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirms the man was waving a knife when he was shot. (July 10)
