Ukrainian medics get married amid destruction

In leather jackets, bride Anastasiya Grachova and groom Anton Sokolov walk down the aisle full of rubble of a bombarded building in Kharkiv city. Grachova, a nurse, and Sokolov, a dental surgeon, met when they were volunteering to give medical help to people as the eastern Ukrainian city came under Russian attack. On Sunday, the couple marched to the Palace of Labor and an Orthodox church, both damaged by shells, before getting married in a metro station. (April 5)
